Empowerment Service
The Empowerment Service is a confidential culturally appropriate counselling service for African & Caribbean children, young people and their families. The aim of counselling is to provide an opportunity for, young people or thier families to talk about and understand their emotional problems; and to enable them to find more satisfying ways of dealing with them. Raising the educational achievement of African & Caribbean children and young people is also a significant objective of the Service.

· Family work
All Service staff are trained and professionally qualified with substantial experience of working with clients from a wide range of background and age groups.
