Mandela School

The Mandela Supplementary School provides practical and direct learning support to young people aged 5-16. Learning support is provided in English and Maths, in addition the school offers valuable confidence building and cultural respect through Black History Studies, which is extremely popular. Our subjects adhere to & support the national curriculum

Homework is given regularly at the discretion of the Teachers. We have a team of qualified and experienced teachers, who are committed in supporting the learning needs of your child.

Throughout the year we incorporate additional learning activities, such as Day Trips, Sports Day not forgetting our special events around Black History Month and our Kwanzaa event in December.

Parents are expected to support their child’s learning at the Mandela School by attending our parents consultation days, termly parents meetings, educational training workshops and our annual Achievement Day, where we acknowledge and celebrate the hard work and commitment of the students.

Primary School

The primary school operates on a Saturday morning from 10am – 1.15pm For Children aged 5 – 10 years old. We have three classes with no more than fifteen students in each class.

Secondary School

The secondary school is open on Tuesdays from 4.30pm – 7.30pm for children aged 11-16 years old. We have two classes in Key Stages 3 & 4 which hold no more than fifteen students in each class.
